Originally established by Vince Pope and Danielle Webster, Beetroot has a large team of award winning composers providing a bespoke musical service to the TV, film and advertising industries.
Vince Pope has worked on numerous high profile campaigns for brands including Nike, Honda, Tango and John Smiths winning several prestigious industry awards along the way. More recently he has branched out into film and TV and was nominated for a BAFTA and won the RTS award for his music on the critically acclaimed C4 series “Misfits”. Last year he scored Paul Abbott’s new series “No Offence”, Jack Whitehall’s first feature “Bad Education – The Movie” and in 2016 has written the music for “Undercover” a major new drama series for the BBC.
Other composers include Rob Blake, an award winning composer and producer who aside from working on commercials, recently won the TPI best live production award for his “Acardia Spectacular” (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mh_xlggzTxk) beating Ed Sheeran, U2 and AC/DC! He is currently musical directing, composing and performing in this years version for Glastonbury.
Jack Blume is an extremely exciting talent, a hugely versatile composer who is also the co-creator, arranger and musical director of “Gobsmacked”, a new a cappella stage show that was a commercial and critical success at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2015 and at the Udderbelly Festival Hong Kong.
